Introducing TOA on Watt Pad in October!

 Greetings readers!!! 

        I want to thank everyone who supports my endeavors and actually buys copies of my books and reads them. I love writing and it is very much a hobby and passion. Just to have y'all who read it and support it... it gives me all the warm feels.

    A lot has changed in the writing world since I began my journey. As such, I am finding new avenues and places to showcase my writing. This has also lead me to be able to experiment a bit and push the boundaries most commonly thought to be strictly traditional. I did it when I couldn't get Totem published by a traditional means and I am wanting to do it with my next writing adventure! 

    Without further ado, I would like to introduce you to my new book (well the start of a book)!

 

The Taming of Ares will be a book where I publish weekly chapters on Watt Pad! 

WHO? The main characters are Gale (Galene) and a befuddled Ares.

WHAT's cool about this being on Watt Pad? Well, it lets my readers interact DIRECTLY with the pages! So let's say you read something and I had a typo (which sadly happens in my books as I am but one lowly writer with a dream). You can insert a comment and tell me. Also, if there are parts you like or just evoked emotions, you can let me know! 

WHEN: I will begin weekly releases of chapters beginning in OCTOBER 2020 on Sunday nights! These weekly releases will continue until the book is complete! 

WHERE: Watt Pad! (I will put a direct link when the book is posted!)

WHY: I wanted to create a story with a strong female character who can stand on her own. (I mean, Kimber in Totem Series is awesome! You will see even more of her strength in the fourth book.)

So, be on the lookout and I will keep you posted the closer we get to October!

Totem Rising release!

Totem Rising (Book 3 in Toten Series) is available for purchase on Amazon! 

Writing is a long journey and I am glad I got to continue what I started so long ago. The series is intended to be a four book series which I plan on completing by Fall 2021!

Totem Rising to Release July 20, 2020 and short stories on Watt Pad

Hi wonderful readers!

          I hope all is well in this very difficult time. I first would like to say thank you to all the people who read my books for their continued support. I am excited to inform everyone Totem Rising will be available for purchase on July 20, 2020 ( I really liked that date).

    As an added thank you, I am releasing short stories on Watt Pad that will be based on some of the characters from the books. I will update them and add to them as much as I can mid-move and mid-Pandemic. They will be FREE and I hope these small, ten-minute reads will give everyone a break from the crazy. First two books in the Totem Series revisions and amazon updates

Greetings world! As you can see by the lack of posts, it is very apparent that I have been missing from the blogging world and in fact the internet world. Life kind of got away from me and I have been raising two kids and just living.

As with a lot of people's worlds, the pandemic has caused me to "slow my roll" so to speak. With this came the opportunity (and also the social acceptability) for me to hibernate at home from the rest of the world! I decided to revisit something I love so much which is my writing!

On top of my list was doing some much-needed revisions to my first two books. Then reposting them to amazon. Since the last time I posted, amazon has merged kdp and creatspace to make it more user friendly. While my books did transfer over (which I am super thankful for), they needed some updating. 

So without further ado, I announce that my first two books have been revised and updated. They are available for purchase on Amazon!

150 copies of Totem sold!!!

          To be perfectly honest with everyone, the 72 hour free sale doubled my numbers of books purchased. I am completely okay with this!

          Reason being is that Totem is a labor of love. It is a story that I believe in and think it is worth telling. Most of the time, with art (if I dare say my book is), we do not see the results in money rather in fulfillment.

          I love writing. I love the characters created and mimicked. I love being able to spin the fantasy in my mind onto paper. Then share that story with everyone. That is why I am beyond excited that Totem has hit 150 copies.

       Thank you to everyone who supported me and purchased Totem! If you like Totem, check out Fleur de Lis. It picks up right where Totem left off.
